Bytes overview

Jawwws Bytes helps you create short links, generate QR codes and understand what happens after those links are shared.

This guide is for beta users who want to get set up quickly.

What you can do in Beta​

  • Create a workspace
  • Create short links
  • Use custom slugs
  • Generate QR codes
  • Track clicks and QR scans
  • Review link performance
  • Manage active and inactive links

Whilst in Beta, short links will have an additional /s tag appended to the end of the URL. This will be removed in the future but the /s tag will still work and be backward compatible.

First steps​

  1. Create your account.
  2. Create or select your workspace.
  3. Create your first link.
  4. Copy the short link or download the QR code.
  5. Share it somewhere safe to test.
  6. Return to Bytes to review the activity.

Create a link to your website or LinkedIn profile, then scan the QR code from your phone. This proves the link, QR code and analytics flow are working.
